Just in time for Christmas: Cath Kidston in Manila opens on December 5 December 6!

UPDATE: Apparently, according to my sources in BGC right now, the December 5 opening is a private launch event, the store will be open to the public on the 6th (Saturday).

While the world is busy thinking about Santa coming to town, here I am, with my full attention on the Home of Modern Vintage coming to Manila.

Words cannot express the feeling I had when I first went into the Cath Kidston store in Cambridge. I was in awe. If it wasn't for trying to look normal and not a psycho tourist, I probably would have cried. (I'm not even kidding).

For those who don't know, Cath Kidston is a modern vintage-themed store established in London, UK. They have beyond-words gorgeous prints that can bring out the woman in everyone. (LOL) I  am not exactly as girly as how I may sound to you right now, but I'm telling you, their prints are ultimate eye candies. They might have some sort of visual drug in there, I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm trying my best to explain here.

I've picked up bags, shoes, purses and more from them (some with the help of my friends who frequents the UK) and I am sure as hell I don't have enough. If you are a fan of Regalong Pambahay and E.G.G, lo and behold, this is their mother.

Recently, I have heard speculations that Cath Kidston is opening in BGC very soon. I live close by so I went down there the following weekend to look for it to no avail. No news online either... until, today.

Spot.ph has announced that Cath Kidston is indeed opening and it's on December 5. December freaking 5! I am wondering why it's not getting any hype at all. No official announcement on their website or official page, yet, but we'll see.

I still haven't calmed down and I am having mixed emotions about this at the moment. One is because I know for sure they are going to be expensive. Second is because I know I won't be able to help myself.
