8 Cuts Burgers made quite a buzz when it first opened its first branch in Katipunan.

Up until now it's making noise most especially that they have been quickly expanding. People have high regards for their food--top-rated, highly recommended. So now that they have opened in BGC, I decided it's about time I go see for myself.

So I was in Serendra to meet some friends for a quick catch up over dinner or something, I stopped fooling myself that I am into any sort of diet and we went over to 8 Cuts Burgers, because YOLO! Haha.
Did my yolo annoy you? 

The place was well decorated, definitely somewhere you'd go to when you want burgers. It's very similar to Burger Bar, which was not surprising because I would guess they are of the same company.

Taste. Smokey and tender, two things you want your burger to be. Just like what you would except from burger restaurants nowadays, you can customize the toppings so I went with my safest choice: lettuce, tomatoes and onions.
What's unique about 8 Cuts is that they give you the option of choosing which kind of parts you want your beef be. I don't know a lot about those things (what a shame, right) so I just asked for the bestseller.
I loved it except that I forgot to have it well done, yet again. Well that isn't their fault is it.

Ambiance. Like I have mentioned, I loved how the place was designed. I love the color theme. I love how minimal it was, at the same time, attractive. They're probably going for a diner setup, hip and modern, nothing romantic. (You are getting burgers, for heaven's sake, what were you expecting! Haha. Peace, yo!)

Service. This is the only downer and it is unfair to judge the entire restaurant for it. Our experience in Serendra wasn't very nice. They had punched in a couple of mistakes in our order, we had to have the receipt revised twice because they keep leaving out an item we didn't order (not intentionally, of course). I'd say maybe everyone was just having a bad day.

Price. Their price is what you would normally expect from burgers. Around P300-P400 with sides and drinks.

Verdict
Overall, it was a very satisfying meal. Not my favorite, but I definitely enjoyed it. The internet might have oversold it to me. Dang it!


What I'm coming back for: The other kinds of burger. They have tons of toppings and combinations to choose from so I must comeback and probably try the Nacho burger.
