2014 - A Few Of My Favorite Things
08:00
It's another year and before we carry on, let's look back on the things we loved about 2014.
You are missing out on a lot if haven't tried Spotify Premium, yet. I've gone on a 30-day spotify premium trial and I have been in love with it since. There is nothing like having the world's entire library at your fingertips. My taste in Music constantly changes so I'd say this suits me very well. Premium costs Php 129. Make sure you get it straight from Spotify, Globe offers the same service for more than twice the price! Tsk. Tsk.

This is the best thing that ever happened to commuting in Manila. Need I say more? I have talked about this a LOT. If you haven't read about this yet, here's a few of my posts about the app: Why The Christmas Rush Is A Great #UBERtunity
They serve mostly Filipino food, at least the ones I've tried. Food come in generous servings so make sure you ask the waiter first before ordering too much. We figured 3 courses are too much for 2 people. Two words: Dessert Sampler.
I have an entire post about restaurants, you can check them out here:
SBH-52 is one gadget I am usually asked about what it is. It looks like an old school MP3 player--close, but not quite. It serves as a Bluetooth remote to your mobile phone. You can answer and make calls with it with a pair of earphones attached to it, or by itself. It works great with my Xperia Z. This way I don't have to open the headphone flaps. Pretty neat I dare say. Same with the Xperia Z charging dock, which saves me from a lot of USB port flap action happening. I am one of those who has been making full use of their phone's NFC. Both my camera and Bluetooth headset has NFC and pairing of devices like these had never been easier.
A very fun and nice animated film about All Soul's Day.
Not exactly a fan of creepy-psycho movies, but I loved this one. Very interesting.
It's everything I wanted a city to be. It was so dear to me, and for some strange reason, it felt like home.
It was weird for me to have not been there earlier this year (or last year) considering my boyfriend lives nearby and that my sister practically works there. I have always protested against living there because I believed no matter how hard it tries, the Metro is still different and I'll always be wanting to go back. Now I'm having second thoughts. Nuvali is even a far better place.

2014 has been a great year for me, there's no doubt in that. Tons of improvement in career, life experiences and travel. How was your 2014? Anything you particularly loved about it?
